I trust that mutiple submissions are allowed; just recently removed all my roses from my garden so its back to BRL blooms ... anyway they last much longer!

I did keep 2 of my David Austin roses and used a close up of one bloom to make this field of roses flowing down the Cox's River in the Blue Mountains.

That's it for roses for now - back to space scenes.

Since roses don't actually grow in fields like wildflowers do (at least no kind of rose I know) I needed to reflect something field like while still making kinda some sense...so I came up with this!
I went with a more anime-ish style for this one, I hope somebody likes it!

as usually I take and ... destroy artistic outcomes!
processed thru various steps with a look more oriented towards coloured ink than aquarel as I did with Molly's one
(but still on a paper texture)

This isn't actually roses. I began with a photo of a red flower. ran gimpressionist on it (I used the whirl brush), then perspective and finally framed with the image.

I think a little less black in the bump part and a little less red and that "style" would look perfect.
