I like it a lot, Dinasset. You did it great! I like to see a bit of white lines, too. Thank you so much for your nice contribution. :yes :coolthup

oy, that was a not so good first try, lol. I finally managed a really good water color using a pic of my dog, that's the one I can't find!

issabella: thank you for bringing up this tutorial again :)! i remember having lots of fun and making really pretty things using this effect. and it's great to have it written down as well, so thank you for taking the time to do that.

I suppose Odin is the one to ask about this, but he doesn't appear to be around: I can see that Chris F:s video isn't listed under his name in the tutorials register, can we add it? And add links to Issa's pdf in this thread too?

2-ton: Hehe, I remember your dog! I liked that one. I knew at once where to find it too, it's here: http://gimpchat.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=7350&hilit=AnMal+watercolour&start=20#p96729 But my favourite of your fake watercolours is earlier in that thread, it's a grungy portrait.

Everyone: So good to see all this beauty! Hope this thread goes on for a long time.

Wow, Anmal, you are better at finding my pics than I am, lol. And I had totally forgotten about the grunge one, I agree that it is probably the best of all my efforts. I don't seem to have that one on my computer anymore, anyone know how to download one's own pics from gimpchat?

Beautiful results. I like that personal style you give to your creations, Dinasset. :hi5
AnMal, you are right. I wish we can have Chris F. in our list of "great tutorials" he deserves to be. I didn't remember we had a thread for this effect, so opened another.
Sallyanne, I found your beautiful dog image. I could get the image. Do you want me to post it for you?

Issabella: Really beautiful! You are getting so good at composition, it's showing both with these watercolours and with the double exposure effect.
