this is so good it's almost scary! amazing job on the texturing, it really came to life now and i want to walk around in that building more than ever now, i'm sure it would be well worth exploring. the landscape around it is beautiful too, i like your mountains. could you paint something from inside of that cathedral? pleeeease?

Excellent final result, like all the textures and you have definitely created and atmosphere around the whole image.

Well, that turned out good. I really like the perspective you use on these paintings, the way the bridge open up as it moves to the foreground and the trees become larger as they climb the hill and move to the foremost part of the image on the right hand side. Very cool colouring too.

I use both. MyPaint feels quicker for the painting process, and I like the selection of brushes. I use GIMP mainly for textures and lighting effects.

But I need more practice with interiors. I guess I won't get practice by not drawing something, though

I think I underestimated how hard it is to apply textures. This is one of the first textures I'm pretty happy with

I have a lot of misses, though.

I had some help with Sketchup for the perspective, which might explain why the tower looks like it's leaning. AnMal pointed that out in the WIP). There's a slight downward angle to the camera. I think next time I'll stick with two point perspective.
