My fantasy portrait of a Rajasthani Gypsy lady. It has taken me a while to finish this one and it was a real challenge, as I created everything from scratch including the headscarf and the background, but I am happy with the outcome.

Issabella - thanks, I appreciate your kind comments. Yes I do get a little "chuffed" when I extend my efforts and they work out all right. Diego kind of persuaded me to go in this direction (portraits) and, thanks to him and Gimp, I am learning more with every new image I undertake. Keeps this old guy busy and happy.

Glad they were useful OMG and really good work on the spaceman. I would never have thought of using emaps in this way.
