Yes thank you Molly. that's the format I needed.

O - I still don't understand. this is the page i went to but all I see is the text when I click on the file. Do I just copy all that text I see and paste it in the folder? Surely not. How to you get from what's on that screen to the file format that Molly posted. Did I miss a step somewhere?

I have the same issue with that perspective reflection script. All I find is the text format.

I don't know why that happens sometimes. Instead of downloading the file, the script opens in a text editor.

When that happens, the full text needs to be copied and pasted into a text file and the text file named the name of the script.

Such as, copy that text that comes up, paste into notepad or other text editor and save the resulting file as, wrapmap-0.3.py. You need to be careful there though as sometimes the text editor will put in its own extension and you may end up with wrapmap-0.3.py.txt. Then it won't work. The file needs to be renamed as wrapmap-0.3.py.

It depends on the web server's mime type settings. The following is my best guess:

If it is: application/x-python it will try and launch it based on your system settings.
If it is: text/plain it will just display in your browser.
If it is: text/x-python it should launch your local text editor

Many (all?) of the python files at GPR have a .txt extension so they just get delivered as text in the browser.

If the file pops up as text in the browser, from the browser menu: File/Save Page As..

That usually works for me.

I will usually use File/save page as
Then when the dialog pops up i will make sure to add double quotes to each end of the name.
"wrapmap-3.0.py"
Otherwise Windows likes to save it as txt, or just file.
