It's a cool field of leaves, I like how they intermingle seamlessly. Nice choice of colors!
That said, the only actual rule mentioned above is to make something new, it's the point of the RAP. *wiggles finger*.

Very creative takes on the prompt! Are these humans dressed up as vegetables ... or vegetables dressed up as humans? Dun-dun dun ... The second image would work well for a weird horror movie. The "sketchy" effect does a good job or removing details and letting imagination fill in the gaps.

Well this is embarrassing, this is actually made for the previous art prompt (The leaves are falling) but I was away for the weekend and couldn't post it in time. Figure I'd post it anyway since it's already done. It's just a very simple photo manip composition based off a popular Valentine wallpaper. I'll upload the source later with reference images

Welcome to GimpChat! And the rules specifically says that it's fine to be late with an entry as long as you specify which RAP you intended it for - and you did! This is a good result I think; the shape of the tree is interesting (almost like a heart?) and the leaves form a good contrast in color and value against the background. Well done.

My first thought is gingerbread man/girl but looking closer there's buttons for eyes so maybe more of something made out of cloth ... certainly "meaning" there though, befitting the theme.

That is definitely ornate clothing! The photomanip makes her look abstract, like the hindu god pictures, nice!
