I like to use Swiss Contrast Mask for darker areas.

Way too hot right now; needed some ice, Issabella. lol

Need some of your heat here Lyle, It is cold......brrr. Half way through Winter. It's mostly dry but cold.

Maybe one day, someone will invent a way to create wormholes so heat from one place can be sent to the cold and the cold there, here. lololololol

Went back to some of your earlier images for this play, Issabella.

I virtually hugged that ice statue, Lyle. Withstanding very high temperatures where I live. Yesterday 42ºC, terrible, all day under the air conditioning.
Sallyanne, I wish I could send you a heat bubble like Lyle says.
Lyle, you did a great ice effect but your window is awesome, just like a real painting. :clap

Thanks, Issabella. I do know my filters. lolololol

One day I'm going to actually try to paint for real (maybe).

Lyle, I agree with Issabella, your enfplenair.jpg in post #490 is outstanding, it looks looks like a real painting :clap

I've no idea how you do that.

Nice illustration teapot.

As for the Enpleinair, I cheated. lol

Used both FotoSketcher and Redfield Finetouch in creative blends. Finetouch works great in GIMP via PSPI; FotoSketcher is an external program. Used Watercolor in it.

lylejk · **Joined:** Sep 24, 2010 **Posts:** 12850

OK;was inspired by teapot to use the same image and voila. Same flow as the enpleinair but and to do a lot of tweaking, particularly on the patron's faces. Not 100% happy since that was work. lol

Used brushstrokes preset as opposed to watercolor this time.
