So I haven't posted anything here for a while and the reason is that I've been doing mostly software GUI design recently. Mostly for a certain open source music software.

But then, for most of these I've made graphics with GIMP so why not post about it here.

Here's some GUI design for software synth instrument plugins. GUI design can be art, maybe?

The above graphics are all made with GIMP (except some small parts are Qt/CSS).

Nice work. :cool

What software is that? I'm always looking for a better soundfont player and other virtual synthware.

LMMS. We just released a new major version, 1.0.0.

Very nice work dd. :clap
I was playing with similar software yesterday and pleasantly surprised to see your images at Gimp Chat.

If you have Musescore, it has a very good player with JACK support.
Musescore playback, Display → Synthesizer, Mixer & Play Panel
Soundfont editor/players, Swami or Polyphone.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

I actually made a lot of the graphics of the new GUI/theme of LMMS. If anyone has ever used older versions of the software, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the new release.

More screenshots?

Two effect plugins that I coded, and drew the graphics for (with GIMP, of course):

LMMS is awesome software. The windows version so far has been a bit buggy and a preset browser for VSTs would be cool but I suppose it's main purpose is to be a linux machine. The GUI designs are really cool - I think you've done a great job!
