Inspired by the recent Fuz thread, I took GIMP's standard Leopard texture, uprezzed it and then added fur to it and made it seamless again. Just an excuse to have fun. The goblet was done using a G'MIC 3D object preset (and some more texture coaxing). :)

That goblet looks like real wood with fur covering, I can just imagine some jungle king drinking from that!

Thanks; I like EyeCandy 3's filters. One of the first times I really utilized it's fur preset (like glass better). Surprised to find so many comments already. Was creating a Polar Bear fur pattern between the time. lol

:)

Speaking of glass, is there a way to make realistic glass objects in gimp?

Again thanks for all the comments. Nix; take a look at the thread below for a cool thread on how to make sketched glass (hopefully it will work for you). :)

Thanks Mahvin. Was going to post this at the G'MIC Flickr, but Flickr doesn't support transparent PNG files. Couldn't think of a cool background to but the goblet in either. lol

Well, why not an African Safari background, with a leopard lazily admiring the cup while lying on a tree limb? Hehehe...

Don't have such a background and for a filter guy like me, I won't paint it either. lol
