That is so cool. So the font makes a block the length of a word? I wonder how that was done. I used lorem ipsum dummy text when I was doing a lot of word processing.

I used this statement to try the font: BLOKK is a font for quick mock-ups and wireframing for clients who do not understand latin.

Yes, it's just a character or group and spacing. I thought it would be fun to make a design out of a quote or short story experimenting with alignment, kerning, line spacing, color, etc. The author was playful in the font description. :hehe

Basic example of BLOKK, 1, 2, 3, 4 characters, w/single space

The BLOKK typeface was inspired by Lorem ipsum text used as a placeholder in design. Rather than using latin they designed a block font to fill the placeholder area. My last post explains my experiment using it in a completely different way.
