Hi! My first posting here.

This was strongly inspired by Belgian artist Dany. I'm nowhere as talented as him, though.

Inking and coloring done in Gimp 2.7.1 in Ubuntu 10.10.

So, what do you think?

Not that bad.... but if you become as talented as Dany don't post here, this is a family forum :)

Thanks!

No worries, I'm not going to copy Dany's subject matter, I'm just trying different styles. :hehe

I scanned my pencil sketch, but then I traced them with Gimp paths and deleted the sketch layer, so everything you actually see is from Gimp. (Btw Gimp paths are quite feature-rich, but seriously underdocumented. I learn something new every time I use them.)

Coloring is very basic Multiply layer flat color. I could do much more "pro" coloring, but this style might not be detailed enough. I dunno.

Great work! She's a vision for sure! My only advice for improvement would be to give her red hair, instead of blonde. I have always loved red heads. The purple dress is perfect.

Seriously, Welcome!!

Yes but then you would have to change the eyes to green and well then the dress color would have to go :lol
It could go on and on and on and on.
