Okay before I say anything I'mma say this: I don't like the expression but I wouldn't have been able to change it without painting the whole thing over so...Yep.

This is kinda a "redraw" like when a person draws something and then draws it again a long time later to show how their skills have improved...I think if I had planed it to be that from the start I would have done a similar expression but oh well!





Here's the old one: It's about 3 years old at least. I like his expression better though. D:

Hehe, I like that the troll has green skin. You are right that the older troll-image has a more interesting expression. You should be very careful to make detailed teeth like this - without plenty of shading it looks like he has false teeth. I would also avoid creating structure on his shirt with a filter like that, if you do you should take care to work it over carefully with a brush to make it look more random.

I like the hair you made for him, nice level of detail there! You also has a better use of light in this image compared to the old one.

As I look the filter for fabric texture does flatten a bit doesn't it? D:
So it's shading that makes teeth, okey good to know. I don't draw opened mouths that have detail so I had no idea what I was doing.
Glad the lighting was better!
