Never was going to pay the price for LucisArt's program, but always liked the look. Made stride over the years, but only recently got closer. Still beyond just a WOP (i.e., forget about a tut) but it does involve G'MIC's Freaky Details preset. :)

That is a great effect! I downloaded the free LucisArts set. I need to play with it. I think your result is nicer than what I have seen from the filter so far.

Pretty happy now about faking the Wyeth look. Still, I did (after someone posted a link in the other thread) install Lucis. Don't have any issues doing so since it's now abandon-ware. Of course folks have to choose their own ethics on the matter. :)
