i've been so caught up in my paisley stuff i've hardly done anything elseduring my playtime lately, but today i came across a very nice picture of a classic bollywood beauty, madhubala. she's so extremely beautiful in this picture and has such a typical madhubala-look, sad and wistful, so i knew i haad to make something with this picture. this is the result and a scaled down copy of the original image.

Nicee one Anmal, but still got some paisley in there!

I think i know how she feels ... he says to a sudden, very noisy background of kookaburras laughimg, that destroyed the moment immediately!

You have done a beautiful job as always AnMal. I'm always impressed by how much time and effort you put into your work and the subtle differences that mean a lot to you. It's hard when you ask my opinion and I can hardly tell the difference between one version and another but you always end up with results to be proud of - and I'm proud of you! :smooch

oldmangrumpy: :hehe can't do entirely without paisleys, can i? thanks, and i hope the kookaburras didn't interrupt an especially pleasant kind of dream. i rather like kookaburras, but maybe that's because i don't have them around? i don't like the sound of cranes (especially at four am) and i hate the sound of seagulls!

erisian: soon enough molly will tell us to get a room again" thank you, coffee man, i know you mean it and i appreciate the time you take looking over my stuff.

Oooo pretty! I'm a little confused though, don't people from India generally have blackish hair and brown eyes? Maybe I'm just used to a stereo-type.

Nice job! :D

thank you, sisters :)!
issabella: i had such a lovely picture to start with, it just couldn't go wrong.
moko: india is a big country with a great population, so i guess it's not strange if the looks vary a lot :). green eyes and grey are not uncommon in india, actually, and i think hair colour varies a lot too, especially since henna dyes have been used since time unknown. judging from the few colour photos i've seen, madhubala had dark brown hair with reddish tones in it, maybe from henna rinsing.
