erisian: as usual anything important i had to say about this is already said, but it's nice to see it posted. i really like it because it is full of story!

A story in a single picture. (I think she might be in the wrong place at wrong time though.... puts me in mind of the tale a little girl in a red cape.)

You can create your own story and LRRH could well fit in here, but what crossed my mind was that this rock creature - a very serious and important being - is suddenly confronted with a child's simple question and doesn't quite know how to respond.

That works too, I didn't picture the rock man as alive, I was thinking more of Medusa.

Medusa? Now that's an interesting thought for another painting someday....
