Erisian, Wow you got it! Fantastic Earth and Fire faces. Congratulations!

Erisian - as my avatar would say, "wow man, just wow man ... they make me feel high".
As I would say, love those elemental faces (Elemental - great album by Loreena Mckennit), but especially earth.

Thank you both. Earth is my favourite too. Whenever I stick mainly to large soft brushes, I seem to get better results.

erisian: i think earth is so beautiful because of that lovely earthy texture and the strong looking face with the serene expression. it really works as a personification of the earth element. but you thought fire turned out a bit cartoony and weren't too pleased with it in the end and i just love fire! it's an expressive image and also a very decorative one.

Fire is my personal favorite! I like the color, and the glow. And how the faces are defined, I think Fire looks better.
The cracks in earth looks good, though.

but i am a little disappointed that they don't have ears.

That's an interesting point. I wanted the faces to blend with the darkness at the sides (impossible with "Fire") but just lightly indicating the tops of ears would have worked. Thank you.
