Hi folks, been busy. Did a 15-minute speedpaint on my phone, with the the theme "plants", about as much time I have to spend at the moment.

Wow, nicely done, especially for just 15 minutes work Griatch. The snow/frost works really well too. Do you have pressure sensitivity on your phone?

How in the world do you get such fine lines with your phone, do you have a sharp pointed stylus???

Always a good picture from you Griatch I'm thinking the plants are probably in snow?
We have some that grow in sand as well so could do for both Winter and Summer

Yes indeed, I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4, which I got specifically because it comes with an in-build Wacom pen (called an S-pen on the phone but it's really a Wacom device, which means no pen battery is needed). It has 2048 levels of pressure. The programs on Android don't offer quite the resources as GIMP/Krita/MyPaint but it's nice for painting on the road.

I wonder if such a stylus exists for an iPhone.

I have one and it appears to me that the screen is also special made for the pen. When touching the pen to the screen in the dark, you can see a slight arc.

Iphones have no pressure sensitivite screens and thus you can't get a true battery-less Wacom device for it (since Wacom tech requires pen and screen to cooperate). But I think there are separate battery-driven bluetooth pens you can get, mimicking pressure sensitivity through pressing down the pen itself. I don't use Apple stuff though, so I don't know what's available.

I think either the 6s or the upcoming i phone7 is supposed to have a pressure sensitive screen. But then, apps will have to be made to use that function for art.
