Start small, run Make Squiggly, then enlarge this result and run erode to squeeze down the widths, separately run Make Squiggly on an enlarged version by itself, also, add some contrast to another enlarged version, and also run Make Squiggly (note, these are three unique runs on original target; not consecutive runs). Then blend the 3 layers together (lighten and/or Screen). Good for starters. I added fractalize to the mix for added chaos. Still, the trick is to use multiple versions and blend. Play with the Make Squiggly sliders too. Unfortunately, due to the heavy embellishments, I won't be doing a tut on this. Hopefully, my hints will be good enough.
