Make Squiggley followed by Contours>Gradient norm and some texturing, and voila. :)

Very nicely done, Lyle! Do I detect another binge on the horizon? This is a very crafty style. I like it very much.

Really, Lyle. How do you figure these things out? The more I think of it, the more that flower reminds of my grandmother's crocheted knotted creations she put on dresser scarves! Very intricate and dainty.

what a beautiful result. I almost didn't click on the post as I didn't know what knotted rope was, I think in the uk it's called knotwork but am probably wrong!
