Thanks Greg. The trick I used for the mask is using G'MIC's Euclidean to Polar (sometimes a few times), G'MIC's Halftone Shapes (smallest scale; sometimes wish I could go below 10) and then reverse the G'MIC's Euclidean to Polar. Then I do my convolution method on an original copy and apply it to the above and finally invert the mask before running that result into Voronoi Stippler. It would be cool if some coder would implement Voronoi Stipper within G'MIC itself, but I do asketh for too mucheth. lol

Those are real nice. I'm new to stippling so I searched a bit and found weighted voronoi stippler, but the site is down.
I was wondering what aplication do you use to make the stipples?
Searched more and bumped to StipplerGen 2 which runs on Linux, OSX and Windows.
You can save the path and stipples to .svg format with StipplerGen, that should offer lot of post-editing possibilities using path plugins and scripts in Gimp.

Yeah; the site's down but you can get to it via the wayback machine, but you can no longer download the executable. I posted the latest executable at link below. Have Stipple Generator 2 as well, but prefer the batch file method.

Glad for that, Greg. Steps are easy to do but hard to explain sometimes and I'm just not in the mood to post tuts at the moment (bad week; don't ask).
