Hope you don't mind a bit of play using Tran's Auto-Hatch (line only) and an attempt at cleaning with G'MIC (like I said; an attempt. lol). :)

Why not a mesh plot too. Spent years (no joke) perfecting this. Believe I now have a decent way of rendering these. :)
