Santa Looking In - Christmas Card 2017

My Christmas card for this year. A more "traditional" style of card than my usual troll/vaette fare. If you want to see the cards of previous years you can find them here.

Done in Krita. This is already in print but feedback is of course appreciated as usual.

griatch: traditional indeed

. he's like the epitome of santa-claus-ness with that jovial smile and the reddish nose. i like the composition very much, with the close up and cropped off view, and i'm superimpressed by the job you did on his skin - it looks so natural and alive. since you're not going to change it in any way i don't have to be critical and can just eulogise as much as i like. it's a lovely picture!

Thanks everyone. Just back from vacations. People got the card and were pleased I hope.

And yeah, for once there are no vaette or trolls in this one, almost felt weird.

Heh, had to look up what 'ornery' meant. Interesting opinion, it's all in the eye of the beholder I guess.
