Looks lovely Lyle :)
Hope your Winter doesn't last too long.
Problem is without the one we cannot have the other.

Possibly true, Sallyanne, but Alabama Winters supposed consist of only 2 weeks of sub-freezing weather followed by highs in the 60s and lows in the upper 40s for a month or 2 then Spring. We've had way more than just 2 weeks of sub-Freezing weather; even snow and that was before Winter. Crazy cold weather for Alabama. I've been spoiled with being able to wear t-shirt and shorts in January for many years and now I cannot. lol

:)

Beautiful image Lyle. I do love to see the grass covered in flowers.

Thanks Gratch/Erisian. Well, yesterday was a beautiful day (actually reached 76ºF here; did some much needed yard work too). Well today's high was suppose to have reached 62ºF and the temperature will now continue to drop. It's 59ºF now. Back to the sub-freezing temps by Saturday. :(

:)

Hey Lyle,
I was in Alabama not too long ago. I was visiting my sister in Rome GA and the Mrs and I took the cycles into Alabama.

lylejk: Hehe, I wouldn't want to live in Alabama if January is usually t-shirt weather! Today I was so happy that we had frost and some flurries of snow in the air, rain and above freezing point temperatures in January feels so wrong to me, who grew up with winters that lasted til the end of March and average temperatures of -20 C in January.
But I like the flower field, very appealing image and the colours are great :).

Sorry for the belated reply; just got home from work. Anyway, cool that you have relatives living in my state. As for your comments, AnMal, I'm glad you received the snow you wished for; as a kid I wished for snow too, but now I'm an old man. lolol

:)

I love the first snow of the year, then I'm ready for spring, lol. I am a summer person.

My sentiments exactly!! Just enough snow for a picture or two and then I'm done with winter.

Well; still no hope currently. :(

It was 15ºF when I first got up (17ºF now) with at least a 2.5 inch dusting of snow (probably protected my pipes like an igloo so not complaining too much). Thank God I don't have to drive anywhere today. :)

OK; no need to start another post. Had a major case of cabin fever the past few days, but did go out this afternoon to do some shopping. Even so, there still are some icy spots on the road and did see the aftermath of a truck that scooted off the road (and slowed traffic to a crawl). Anyway, thought I would do another flowery field render. Details at the image's Flickr (including reference info). :)
