I was just playing around with the almighty GIMP 2.7.3 (Partha's) to discover more of its power.

Here is one of the products I ended up with.

Looks pretty nice.

I looked at the art before the text (like usual) and I thought at first it was made in InkScape until I read what you said. At least your first experiment wasn't transforming a white chick to a black chick, and getting beat by a shoe lol

If You did that from scratch then you did a very good job. My only comment is that I can see the outline of a perfect round orange highlight. Obviously, a stylised result as apples do not grow that perfect.
Having said that, I would be proud to do something as good as that and display my mastery of the ellipse tool and the advanced blending techniques. Well done!

Or it could have been removed by himself.
Well you can always just attach it here instead of uploading it. :)
I am kind of curious now :lol

I thought I posted a second time to say: "I love the apple! So, much, it inspired me to create some apple skin looking text, which was suggested by Ofnuts a few weeks ago."

Apparently, I didn't post that, so I am doing so now. Good job, Josephbupe!

Comments will be appreciated.

This is great! I love it. :)

Now maybe you can do the famous apple with an orange in the interior?

Thanks,
Partha
