Another splash page from my unpublished sci-fi comic Shrike - references to Humanity.

I'm interested in detailing the less-seen parts of Shrike's futuristic world, and thus the stand-alone pieces from Shrike I put up here are primarily studies of things like architecture and - as in this case - fashion. This is the protagonist in a dance club, dressed up to the teeth with tribal-style decorations over her pressure suit.

Comments and feedback is appreciated as always!

EDIT: I felt the image came across as a bit too "flat", and so did some commenters. So I've gone back and sharpened it up as well as increased contrasts and highlights all over.

Definitely enjoy seeing your work Griatch; the glossy light effect works well here. :)

I like the otherworldly look of it. She looks powerful but not evil; a being of helpfulness.

Really beautiful. I like the pose. Also really good face.

I'd prefer more defined edges, but that's stylistic choice, so it's not a crit.

Thanks for the comments everybody. :)

@kimppi

I actually agree with you; there was something that was not really "jumping out" with the image. So I've gone back to sharpen it up as well as modify a bunch of details in the image. Take a look, hopefully better now.

It's clearly better now. Also, those curves are... well, really beautiful! :)
