The running wolf looks good otherwise, but the legs seem to be changing length...

Try using GIMP's measure tool to maintain a consistent length for them.

Or take inspiration from Edweard Muybridge's work:

I like that wolf! I didn't really notice the shortening leg until somebody mentioned it - I thought it the effect of perspective - the leg was turning away.

Same here i assumed the leg was getting closer too you as the wolf ran.
