Are we entering now Willy or just doing a poll first?

Entering now :)
Sorry if that wasn't clear, I guess the poll is for next month and so on.

Also, if yes, then how should the theme be chosen? Voted on? Suggestions? Chosen by Winner?

Maybe
The winner picks 3 or some other number of themes, and then we would vote.
The reason I say this, is something such as, PC winning, then he chooses, Seamless patterns, and with all of his experience, he could be at an advantage, where if there is voting on a few themes, it could be a bit harder to "rig" it so you would have an advantage.
In no way above do I mean this to be offensive to anyone, but some people have more experience in certain types of Art.

Then for voting, then there would be suggestions from people and a poll made for the next month's theme in the entry topic, I guess, then whatever gets the most votes would be selected.

I think there should always be the option for Freestyle or No Theme though.

Opinions? Suggestions?

Ok :) I will enter mine then. I had a line drawing not done by me at this time yet. :lol

But I cleaned it up and colored it. I added the stamens though. :hehe

OK Willy; this one's an Inkscape, GIMP collaboration (mainly lot's of G'MIC presets blended in). Hit 99°F today, so thought I needed to throw some water around to cool of and it just happened to take the form of my favorite doll model. :)

Ok here is mine , a "gimped up" Photo of a car of a friend of mine. Some of the shine is lost as I had to scale it down to submit. Although it started as a photo the art is in upgrading the photo to poster standard . Please click on it to see the larger version and click on the square thingy to see the full size details . Nb 3000 x 2000 is the scaled down version of original 4272 X 2848.

Hey would you mind sharing the original photo? To help people see what you put into it.

A good start with nice entries already!

I vote for not having any themes myself. Better to just let people post recent stuff they think came out well, you will get more entries that way too as compared to having people doing stuff specifically for the contest/theme.

Thanks for the feed back Griatch!
I don't think there are going to be themes, I can just see it drasicly reducing the amount of entries and causing other problems

My entry last month was a very simple design.

Lately I've been playing with this technique and thought I'd submit a more complex and chaotic piece for this month's contest.
