Well a try anyway. Lots of wacky blends and still not happy, but I at least tried. lol

Wow, that is very neat! It reminds me of those sculpture-like things, where something is carved out of the glass, rather than being on it.

Oh, I do virtual ice sculptures too Amanda, but that will be for another time. lol

Extracted manually with the erase tool (so hosed that Mahvin; lol). Also did some anisotrphic smoothing ofr a partial smudge effect (G'MIC). Otherwise, I started out with a paper texture and then bumpmapped with the target to start things off. Also, after a dup of the result, I ran edge detect and created an edge mask and then ran motion blur to add some additional depth. I also painted in some shadow under my boy's chin area for even more depth. Still, a far cry from the paper sculptures that I linked on another post. Will link here too for record. :)
