About HOW TO

i mainly used GMIC
the first 2 are just done running the painting filter once ( on the right image..:D)

the 3rd is dark and grungy but i like it.
It is again gmic painting filter, but then converted to bw with Gegl/c2g

the Tree House was the most complex

it is a combination of 2 bw pencil, and 2 sketch layers, the original + a "painting" layer

For the last at 90% is just the effect of ..again, gmic painting
For the rest another layer on top, gmic BW pencil on a dup of the original
in multiply mode but at very low opacity

When you run the filters more than once on a pic, do you run it on the already filtered copy, or do you make another original and run it on that then combine them with layer modes or opacities?
