It all started with birds...

I took this shot of birds in flight (sandpiper, aka Calidris Alba) in Brittany no so long ago.

That would have been a pretty cool picture if there had been enough depth of field to have all the birds in focus.. I can't really throw the pic away, because I love way the birds fly in this small formation (once you remove the wings, you find the bodies are in a perfect diamond). With some time to spare, I took the Path editor, and outlined the birds. But looking at the picture, two words cross my mind, freedom and team... pretty much the definition of

The final picture has been done in Inkscape, after importing the SVG obtained in Gimp.

That is a beautiful picure ofnuts. The waves were very churned up that day and the colors are very stormy but the birds still remain calm. Very nice capture.

Nice photo and nice work. Ever read a book called Jonathon Livingston Seagull? Its all about freedom and doing your own thing. A bit different because it's about individuality rather than teamwork, but very inspiring. Highly recommended.

Great idea. Great expression of it. Thanks. (I first thought
they were a new species of avocet/killdeer, but Brittany is in France
of all places, even though, statistically, there's a better chance
of a new species being from Texas than in France however.)
