I was fooling around today with making a metallic stereo knob and now I'm not really happy with the knob I made before for my series. It doesn't really go with the final Interface tutorial of my Metal Wurx series but I thought I would toss it out there in case anybody is interested in a tut for it. If so I'll do a separate one.

Here's what I came up with.

I would find it useful for my VST synth designs. I can always do with new knobs and sliders.

Amazing! I love that, would look great over a leather texture. Like a high quality car or amp.

Sliders are really a piece of cake. Make yourself a greay rectangle and apply a heavy bevel with the selection bevel script, and overlay it with a metal color or use GMIC like you did in your tut. Make a long.
skinny dark gray rectangle, do your bevel and put the first layer on top.

This is kinda lame but it was a quickie I threw together so you could see what I was talking about.

Yeah. The slider is the easy part, but as you can see from my fast throw-together, getting it to look like metal is the hard part.
