I took a shot of a Butterfly drinking some nectar from a flower, and then did a G'mic Mirrored Frame, mirroring on the x-axis and doing some y-axis offset. The profile of a Butterfly, when doubled up like this, produces the shape of a butterfly as if you were looking at it from overhead. Anyway, simple enough, but I'm a simplistic person and enjoyed how it turned out.

That's really nice. I play with Mirrored array a lot trying to create new patterns. It's really useful.

Erisian,
Thanks, I guess I should have known that a profile doubled up as a mirror image would turn out the way it did, but I just didn't think about it and was quite surprised when I saw the image appear! Like you said, Mirrored Array does produce some interesting patterns.

Well, Charlie, if you knew how everything would turn out, there wouldn't be any cool surprises like your butterfly. Neat picture.
