If you people have weird dreams after this oddity I have for yous...I'm sorry wasn't intended! xD

This is based off of a logo I designed for my story, for the council of Feathertailed Rabbits; Since each group has a representative within the FTR's, I combined different elements each represented group has. A lot of nature involved but it all means something maybe later on I'll do a full write up, atm I'm sleepy.

Original design:


Redone and semi redesigned in GIMP, with a mouse.
Again: NO TABLET!


This took me 3 active days to redraw.
The only thing I totally dislike is the eyes, redoing the eyes opened looked horrible and them closed just look weird.

Wonderfully done too Moko. Very jealous that you have both prowess at each end (hand drawing and digital art). Thanks for sharing and I hope I don't dream of this creature when I finally do hit the sack. lol

Nicely done I think I like the eyes open better, though. The rabbit's expression with the open eyes seems to invite more contemplation - a bit more mystery to it.

mokonafan: hehe, i think it looks like a hippie rabbit . nice work, as usual, i know i keep commenting on your unique style, but it's something i really like and admire in your work. hope to see more from the furry friends project!

I especially love the bottom image and I like the way you did the eyes in the top one and the bottom one needs her eyes open too. Beautiful colors and there is a softness about the whole image that is very nice on the eyes.

Beautiful Moko. I love your use of colour and I'm a fan of those big glossy manga eyes.

i think the first time i had a look at your picture, i just stared for five minutes at all the details

was especially impressed by the feathers
they look fluffy like real feathers !

what i dont like so much is the face/floppy ears
i think there is too much going on, but i understand every detail has a meaning ?

Yes they all have a meaning! (I need to do this anyway for my website I'm working on for this project, so here it goes!

The Meanings:

The left ear and the Rounded Musical Staff (along with treble-clef and time signature) represent music and the Musical group is FTR's.

The Right ear, wooden part of the face, and vine represent the nature, and beauty.

The "x" arranged feathers with the cloud behind them represent flight and air, the wings "behind" the figure isn't much of a representation, it's added because the feathertailed rabbits have wings (and a not shown in this image long tail).

The Sun, Stars, and Lightning-Bolt represent light and beauty.

The stitched up part of the face with band aids represent healing, and since "she" is smiling it also shows you can smile through pain.

The Orange "behind" the figure, is fire, that's the only negative meaning thing in the image, it represents torment, but as we all know, fire can also represent purifying.

The Heart in the middle of he head represents love, and it's in the middle to represent that being the core of all good.

The Fabric is more for decoration, and the grey shoulder area is stone, it's just simply to represent a statue like image.

* If the eyes were opened like in the first image one would be red to represent bad, and blue to represent good.
