Yet another close-up. This seems to be developing into a series!
This time it's the protagonist from <I>Shrike</I>. Went with a diametrically opposite colour setup compared to the "Cheerful close-up" image. Feedback appreciated as usual.

It makes me almost want to try a closeup myself. I think I've only attempted it once.

griatch: mycket vackert! i think the colouring seems to suit the character (though i've only seen her once before). i just wonder why her skin seems speckled in the middle of her cheek? the "speckles" are in just that particular area.

This is my favourite so far. She is really beautiful.

Yes, it's an interesting challenge to do these close-ups, I can recommend trying it. I've still got many to go if I wanted to.

It might be that the speckles show up more on different monitors, because here I hardly notice them. The speckles on her cheek are intended to be indicative of the general structure of the skin. Needless to say I've not yet gotten the detailed skin structure down quite yet - I find it's hard to get right at this high zoom-in.
There are plenty of studies of this character by the way, many which are closing in on a decade old by now.
