had some time to relax and play around, so i made another cover for my mp3 player

its made from heavily edited architectural pictures found on the internet
mirrored, layered, filtered, etc.

i made the text in Inkscape, its much more comfortable

It looks good. The top part reminds me of one of those alien invasion movies where the mothership is moving over a city.

thanks Caz, i think you are talking about the 'A'?
thats the logo of the record label

i was thinking a lot of the Syd Mead designs for Blade Runner when i made the whole thing

and for those who are interested, here is the original picture i made the reddish structure from:

It looks very alien. I like the background part, it's like a night scene.

I'm glad you took the free time to relax!
I think it looks good, not sure which style of music it would go with...Something harsh sounding I think.
Still Nice work! ;D

very good Esper

Esper i think Caz means the hull look at the top of the image. This is cool.
Forgive me for butchering your artwork.

oh i see, that is just a picture of a factory upside down

I never would've have guessed it was a factory, sure makes for a cool alien ship look when Gimp magic is applied.
I love the picture you made the bottom part of the image from. It's a interesting shaped building caught at a good angle.
