I've been trying to learn how to do dramatic lighting with this elf maiden. Her face is partially illuminated by a shaft of light. I'd be grateful for any critiques, thanks.

if you are prone to use Gimp/GMIC filters, I give you 3 different processings:
- simply using modLCS

-using G'MIC lightglow+modLCS

Oh wow Dinasset! Those look really nice! I'm always up for learning new tricks, thank you :). I definitely think the brighter values generated by those plugins look better than the ones I used in my original painting. Something for me to make a note of.
