erisian: that is surreal!! i love how the fractals melt into the vegetation. and i love the bubbles and i love the composition. it looks a bit scary, though, with that swamp monster floating about... and i think the part under the chin needs a bit of definition, seems like it's fading into the background a bit. might look better with more of a reflection or shadow in the water too, like merrak says.

I would have spent some time removing the green (it's from another photo with blurred foreground leaves) but my tablet lead is damaged and I would find this difficult with a mouse.

Merrak - good point on the reflection. I don't know how I could have overlooked it.

hm, can i be fussy? now that you've added the reflection your spoilt audience demanded, could you distort it a bit too, so it looks more like the other reflections in the stream?

i don't know what the unintentional thing was, but i saw a sort of clown or troll face in the picture, with a mouth half open in surprise.

I see a face! Or a pineapple. Definitely one of those two.

I think it looks better, although I think the reflection is still off - a bit too clear, while the reflection of the grass is mostly a shadow.

The reflection - I did distort it but because it matches the other reflections it's difficult to see. It is a little too light but I doubt it would be in shadow as it is out in the open where the other reflections are underneath bushes.
