This was inspired by PhotoComix, talking about symmetry and how one door opens to another door, which leads to another filter and so on... :cu

Started with a blob of gray noise and I know the basic techniques used to get to the final result, but I could never exactly duplicate this again.

I do not know if it looks good, but I have not been able to redo the texture of the image shown in my signature. I had obtained it playing with G'MIC.

I know how I did this but I definitely like the result more than most of my work, and it's original to me, not from a tutorial or script.

Not so much the whole image as more the felt background, I wanted a felt texture for another project, I like to have a go at creating the things I need myself ( The joy's of being a hobbyist and having no time constraints).So with Google images open with lots of felt pictures for reference, set about playing with filters until I got something close and seamless. Although I could recreate the image posted below (apart from the felt) I think I would have to take some time out to work out exactly how certain elements where done.

I have some of the steps of this written in its title but I have no idea how the texture in the centre was made.
To me it looks like knitted wool

A few years ago I created this agreeable and seamless pattern which features glowing curved lines that remind of coloured neon tubes:

I roughly remember the sequence of filters and/or operations that I used for achieveing such a kind of result (Maze plugin, Gaussian Blur, Curves tool, Gradient Map, and eventually an elaborate composition of several layers with differerent layer modes). Nevertheless, if I tried to exactly reproduce the same effect now, I think that I would not be able to.
