Plane made in Blender 3D, and photo-editied in GIMP.
Stamp bits done in Inkscape and GIMP, and the composition and woodcut effects entirely in GIMP.

Critique welcome. This is a graphic for commercial products for my work, so don't pass it around, please. Linking to this thread to show people is fine, however.

Thanks. I kept the stamp border detail simple, because it's going to be screen printed onto canvas material, and extra shadows tend to make it look grungy.

It's a joke  I think it's very difficult to make a tutorial for this picture

Well, depends. I think the hardest part was the Blender 3D part. You could take a pre-existing picture and turn it into a postage stamp woodcut in gimp without using Blender, though. :) Even making the stamp border in Inkscape is very easy.
Maybe like 10 or 12 steps for the whole stamp/woodcut effect, minus actually making the 3D plane. I could output some alternate renders of the plane for use in the tutorial, if the interest is there.

I know Blender and I have an account on Blendswap :) So for this part, I know how to do but for the inkscape and gimp part, I do not know

Heh, actually, I figured out a cool (if not hackey) way to do the stamp border in GIMP too. Guess I'll do it that way, then post the vector inkscape stamp tutorial in the inkscape section.

The shading on the top of the plane and the engines is very nice, but I can't figure out the shape of the bottom and aft section of the plane. The left wing also looks a bit higher on the fuselage than the right one.

And the realism nazi in me wonders how this plane can land or take off without breaking the propeller blades because there is no way these landing wheels will extend sufficiently far down :)

I make da plane good. Huh huh. ;P :D Seriously, considering how much I know about aviation, you're lucky it has the correct number of wings.

Hey Esper. Yea, I drop in and out when I have time. :hehe
I've had to do a lot of house re-arranging since the breakup with my gf. I've also been doing a lot of experimentation with setting up my room as a photography studio, lots of diy construction. Thanks for noticing I went missing, though. ;) Makes a guy feel missed. :hehe

I'll post a tutorial on a new thread about how I did this alternate rendition of the aeroplane stamp, entirely in GIMP, just now:
