how do I use the "alpha to logo" tools in gimp 3.0?

I recently downloaded the new version of GIMP and wanted to use the Alpha to Logo tools and those in the Create tab, such as maps or certain text effects. When I installed the Alpha to Logo extras, I got an error when using them.

If you're talking about the Logo Toolbox created by GunTux?
You would have to have some one look this script over.
Sadly GunTux has been inactive for quite some time,
and we don't expect a GunTux comeback anytime soon.

Use Filters>Generic>Text Styling (GEGL Styles) as an alternative to logo toolbox in GIMP 3 and if you want even better more advance text styling use this plugin

Gimp-3.0 does not support the older alpha to logo nor the create logos filters. There are however busy folks trying to get them working in Gimp-3.0. Have patience and i am sure most of them will be re written.

I myself use Gimp-2.10.38 RC1 to be able to use older filters and effects. Until they are available for Gmp-3.0
