The HDR Efex Pro 2, not working with Gimp 3.2, I'm using
windows 11 pro for the first time. I'm also in the process of moving from my old
windows 11 laptop to a new one. I was using Gimp 3.0.6, and believe it work
okay. All the other ones in the collection work like they should, with no problem.

Once you save the effect you want, it saves it to your documents and
the plug-ins fails to load it in gimp. Anybody know if there is a fix for it?

First of all, have you checked your settings?

I've seen this message before.

For me, the solution was to delete all files containing "nik" in the name from Documents and .../AppData/Local/Temp, as these temporary files should be deleted (if the plugin is working properly).

TeaMouse,
Have you tried putting the image file in the "...AppData\Local\Temp" folder? The "WinError 2" message gives an exact file-path, but the path is not pointing to "Documents".

This time I tried uninstalling the Nik Collection and reinstall, no change.
I did as your last suggested post and still doesn't work, I also tried changing the reimport setting, nope.
Tried the output input from tiff to jpg and back to tiff, now it only will look for jpg now even tho
I have it set to tiff. It does put original image in the temp folder to work with, as you said, once the process
is done, Nik will place it in my documents with output selected file extension, but just can find it.
All other plug-ins work, with exception of HDR Efex Pro 2.

Two possible explanations,
1. Windows made a change how it handles it files
or
2. The Gimps update to 3.2.4 has done it most likely.
