Looked at the original which was displayed as 17.4Mb so did a temporary compression with 7-zip. This reduced the filesize to 8.32Mb so I estimated that I needed to create just 2 files with Splitter. Not an exact science since the amount of memory required for the layers in each file is not uniform. Obviously the temporary zip file is not needed and can safely be discarded.
