Hi Skinnyhouse,

Given splitting and stitching files may be off putting to users I guess you must have thought about hosting them somewhere else and then putting a sample on gimpchat with a link to the custom font.

I was impressed with gimpturkey's collection of custom fonts on blogspot. If you had an account there would it allow big enough files for you too?

Thanks for the heads up Teapot.
In truth I am struggling with what to do.
GimpChat feels like home#1 and GimpLearn felt like home#2 - having bigger beds and better sofas.
Using splitting and stitching is not an ideal situation - adding another step to acquiring custom fonts.
Talking to Alan on GimpLearn - who is hoping for Tim to keep the site going - has not added any real clarity.
At some point I may have to look seriously at this but I know nothing of such things (sounds silly when I say it).
