Please post here a link to a cool tutorial. No matter if is only text or a video
When you can post a preview of the outcome too, it would be super super helpful.

Hi Chris, the initiative of collecting text tutorials for Gimp and Inkscape is really commendable of you. Taking a glance at the site, I have already found several cool threads and videos that I hadn't noticed as yet. So, thanks for informing us about such operation.

Having said that, I don't exactly know if this could fit as real tutorial, but some time ago, when intervening in a thread featuring a script of mine named "Multi-replicate", two members of this forum, namely Graechan and he4rty, had the cute idea of indicating some useful tips in order to create 3D text effects by means of the script in matter, by suggesting a number of tricks as well as the proper settings of the dialog window to specify for the purpose. They and others users also attached some suggestive snapshots depicting the outcomes of the experiments based upon the methods they devised.

I also like to think of the possibility that one of these kind people, which showed such an appreciation for my script, will have in the future the desire to write an official thread aimed to describe in a much more detailed manner the steps to follow for generating perspective text effects beginning from the script.

he4rty made a good looking example of the first one in his thread and the second one has screen shots of the result, but i can post one of my results from the second if you like.
