Browsing the Latest GIMP Scripts & Plug-ins I found a lot of new entries, all posted by "Gnutux" (but created by other scripters -unknown by me).
Is Gnutux back "active" on Gimp-chat or is he only dedicated to the management of the registered scripts/plug-ins?

Gnutux is not back on Gimp Chat. He still maintains the Gimp Scripts site.

OK.
So, may we ask him to post our scripts, when released to Gimp-chat?

Scripts can be submitted to GIMP Scripts using the following form.

Next time I will make use of this instead of posting on a thread.

It's probably a good thing you did ask about it. There are others who probably can use the information.

:hehe

I started to use successfully what you suggested, O.
One question first:
- when clicking on the "attachment" it says that among the filetypes .7z is accepted, but today I tried and was refused, so I came back to the source .py file
The reason of choosing first the .7z type was to include in the zipped file also a picture as outcome example.
How is it possible to do that? May I click twice on the attachment entry and do once for the filter and once for the example before "sending"?
Then one suggestion:
- in the fields to be filled in I guess it would be useful to have an additional one, called "prerequisites"
Thanks, O.

Remember the information you used to give to me to add your scripts dinasset? Just send me that same info (including all prerequisites in a zip file) ,and i will add them to the website for you.

The form will go to Tux, myself and i think there may be other mods still there. That is if you use the form. :)

Rod,
do you mean I just ONLY send to you the zip file (including prerequisites and examples of images) INSTEAD of filling the form for the submission as I did recently, OR should I do BOTH, which -in other words- means:
1) I use the submission form as I did recently, which contains the std basic info and the source plug-in
plus
2) I send you a .7z file with the same info as above PLUS the prerequisites (if any) and the samples?

Thanks
