Gimp Chat Taking a long-time to load!

I've had times I've been completely blocked. Had to Click go back in windows 11 to get in.
Today I've had number of timeouts on my phone or trying my computer for Gimp chat to load. Still could not
get in, after waiting and waiting. Had pages not completely loading everything properly, once in,
had to refresh page. Everything I click takes about 4 minutes or more to do! It all started after we
got spammed. Hope someone is working on it. It took Me about 3 Hours to get in and logged on to
make a second post today.

Thanks for the concern and I apologize for all this.
It seems most of us, myself included,
are experiencing the same issues.
I've contacted Omega about this issue and have yet to hear back.

I'm going to move this thread to site support.

Yep good here now as well. I couldn't get in all last night, but everything seems good now.

Heck i even had to login several times and it wouldn't except my password. Then the 4th time it did but loaded an error page. Glad things are good now.

I wanted to provide an update regarding the site's performance.
This postings alone took me nearly half an hour to complete.

The site is still loading very slowly or,
in some cases, failing to load entirely when attempting to perform any actions.

Also receiving internal server error.

Yay I'm finally in! :yes

Couldn't at all yesterday. Still slow here though. Tas must have a better server than me.

Yeah; noticed this earlier when I was at work (during dead time periods I browse; lol). Thought maybe my company was spying on me and boxing my access. lol

Seems okay later at night for some reason. 1:53 AM here, and it seems to load pretty good so far. Maybe the spammers are trying to get in mostly during daylight hours? Bogging down the Gimp Chat server.
I just wonder why are they hitting this particular server so much. What other websites are hosted here i wonder.

I think the issue is caused by AI bots harvesting OUR original images. I'm pretty sure it's happening on other Gimp sites.

The site is still at a crawl for me,
with unreasonable load times.

Long waits to connect and even longer loading when logging in,
posting and when clicking any page links.

Trying to maintain the board is a very arduous process for me at this point.
I hope this doesn't last too long,
because this is effecting us all.

I see we now have 'Cloudflare' checking logins for harmful bots.

15:00 down under - Login speed satisfactory and posting seems OK too right now. Hopefully we are back to normal.

Same as for Wallace here.
Seems to work in the early morning (7:30 here now). Wasn't able to get in last evening.
I can imagine what a pain it is to maintain everything when it's like this.
