I scrolled over the icons in gimpchat's phpBB editor and saw "spoiler text". What is that?
All I could think of was Dr. Who and River Song say, "Spoilers". :-)

In the gimpchat Policy there is a reference to staying away from sourceforge. I've read similar articles in magazines and online. Is that just a user-beware or do admins remove those links?

Spoiler text is a part of your post that remains hidden until the reader clicks on it.

SourceForge used to add cr*pware to the installers of some programs distributed through it (most notably Gimp, which was a very bad PR move for them, due to its popularity). The management has supposedly changed since, and they stopped doing that. So it should be fairly safe now. Downloading source code has never been an issue...
