I have had a few ‘senior’s moments’ with GIMP of late, but I had to really laugh after my latest episode in the garden.

One of the joys of retirement is garden maintenance and last weekend I was pressure cleaning all the pavers that form the walkways though our garden. I was geared up with waterproof clothes, boots and goggles - safety first, you never know what might spit upwards at speed!

Anyway in amongst the normal dirt and grime, I came across some really stubborn, large dark spots which would not shift with the pressure spray; so I thought I would get some cleaning fluid and a hard brush to remove them, but would have a coffee first.

After my cuppa, I went back to the pavers, cleaning bottle and scrubbing brush in hand, only to find that those dark spots had moved on to the next paver and were in fact oscillating - they were shadows of leaves from an extended branch of one of my large shrubs! Oh dear ... I blame those steamy goggles.!

Funny stuff, I can relate.

You should have tried the, "Shadow Remove" setting on your washer.
