Just a note about the topic title. At Libre Graphics Meeting this year, there was even an artist who was doing "glitch art", which is basically art generated by bugs in software. While we are looking to fix bugs, we discovered that there are people in this world who thrive by finding and using bugs for artistic purpose! So yes: everything can be considered art as long as you decide to (and as long as you find other people who like it too, I guess).
