As far as I can tell.
No one knows what happened to PhotoComix.

Thanks Wallace. Online they are an avatar and and nickname so nobody knows who they really are.
That sort of returns to the original post. Sorry to see you go whoever you actually are.

If I don't post much it's because I'm busy, with taking care of my mother. In a few days she will be 97. She's basically healthy but I still spend a great deal of time making sure she gets what she needs.

When I get a chance to come here It's to see what neat and wonderful things people have been doing. It's like an island of fabulousness and creativity.
Everyone contribution is appreciated.

As memory serves me, PC was going to take a trip to South Africa. Last I heard of him then. Hate to say I thought of the worse, but I did. Miss the guy; had a lot of interactions with him back in the day.

Sorry to read this Erisian.
May you find a place where you feel appreciated and visit this place occasionally, just like I do.
BTW I like your new avatar. It makes me smile :)

That's very true Tas_Mania. I often wonder what's behind that avatar and nickname.
What people they are in real life.
And I miss a lot of people here, Dalia, Marcello, Carlos Dinez, pirate541, Akros...
and I'm sure I forgot to mention some names.

And then those who left us for always, SysTemX and Oregonian :(

Ella, I like you, miss nice people who were members of Gimp Chat and we know currently nothing from them.
I know about Carlos Diniz, he writes me at Christmas time each year and he is happy learning and enjoying his new toy "Blender program"
Dalia, hopefully can see us from time to time but she said was immerse in a familiar project which took her all of her time.
Wishing the all the best for all them.

Issa, I'm very glad to read Carlos and Dalia are doing well :)
I also like to play with Blender. But at the moment I have problems with that program.
Not found a solution yet :(

Personally, even though I'm not here much anymore, I check out most new posts, just don't respond. Threads I start on other forums I frequent are always hit and miss. Not everyone is interested in the same things. I remember someone else here, forget the username, that had his account deleted, if I remember correctly. He felt the same way. He posted a new tutorial just about everyday, and seemed offended because people weren't using them. I just don't do tutorials, unless I want to learn how to do something I'm looking for specifically, or just can't figure out. I love the GIMP program, but as a rule, use it when I want to do something in particular, as opposed to using it just to use it.

Erisian, good luck to you and yours.
